The bill, 9042-D-2014 titled \u201cManagement of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment\u201d, would cover all 10 categories of EEE products as specified in the EU WEEE Directive and also batteries.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed substance restrictions include the same six substances controlled by the EU\u2019s RoHS Directive &#8211; lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
