{"id":1826,"date":"2021-01-15T10:29:51","date_gmt":"2021-01-15T15:29:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rohs.ca\/news\/?p=1826"},"modified":"2021-03-28T19:41:58","modified_gmt":"2021-03-28T23:41:58","slug":"eu-sustainable-products-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rohs.ca\/news\/2021\/01\/15\/eu-sustainable-products-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"EU \u2013 Sustainable Products Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European Commission has launched its \u201cSustainable Products Initiative\u201d to revise the Ecodesign Directive and propose additional legislative products to make products more sustainable.\u00a0 The Commission provided the following summary:<\/p>\n<p><em>This initiative, which will revise the Ecodesign Directive and propose additional legislative measures as appropriate, aims to make products placed on the EU market more sustainable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Consumers, the environment and the climate will benefit from products that are more durable, reusable, repairable, recyclable, and energy-efficient.
